EWMBAA Admissions Committee

Did you know you can play an active role in the recruitment of incoming classes and promotion of quality of the overall Haas student body? The admissions committee activities include: student-driven outreach, admission process support, and welcome/orientation activities. Our number one goal is to help the EWMBA Admission and Program Office to attract and retain the best talent we can find and to create the exceptional Haas experience for all. We participate in information sessions/interviews/welcome receptions, and provide Haas tours and class visits. We organize the new student welcoming calls and answer questions for prospective students and newly-admitted students. We also create the entertainment activities for the Orientation!

The new initiatives this year include a rigorous student-run outreach program and a partnership with the Admission Office in refining the EWMBA marketing program. All these fun events require committee members and volunteers like you! You can get more information about what we do and what we've done by visiting our blog at http://haasewmbaa-admissions.blogspot.com/. Come join the fun and put your Haas experience at good use!

Please also check out our upcoming events and volunteer activities below and stay tuned for more to come during the summer including the:

The prize for Innovation@Haas goes to...

...Sina!

Evening students don't have that nice plexiglass name plate stand. This means that if you are in a classroom with normal tables as opposed to the amphitheater ones (like C220 etc), you are out of luck i.e. no class participation brownie points for you.

Sina has an great solution for that. See picture below:

That's right! All you need are two pens.

March Madness Special (Spring Break Social Event)

Date: Saturday, March 22
Time: 4:00pm – 7:00pm
Location: Raleigh’s in Berkeley
Address: 2438 Telegraph Ave
Berkeley, CA 94704
(510) 848-8652

For the first time in Haas history, we have back-to-back social events! Also, this time, we're inviting the newly admitted Round 1 candidates! :-)

If last week's end of quarter event was not enough, come join your classmates and friends for another round of drinks at Raleigh’s at the ‘March Madness’ special event.

Wear colors for the team you are cheering for. Cal will not make it this time, but hey now that’s not a great reason not to party. If you are not cheering for anyone, wear Haas.

PS: If you're wondering why you haven't seen any eZine updates, they are now at here http://haasewmbaa-ezine.blogspot.com/
